  • Brief historical and cultural introduction.

Module 2: Basics of Devanagari Script

  • Familiarization with Varnamala (letters).
  • Pronunciation and writing practice of vowels and consonants.
  • Introduction to transliteration techniques.

Module 3: Essential Grammar Basics

  • Pronouns (Personal and Demonstrative).
  • Verb forms in the present tense, past tense, and future tense.
  • Introduction to cases (declensions - Vibhaktis).
  • Basic sentence formation (affirmative and negative).

Module 4: Vocabulary Building

  • Daily use words and phrases.
  • Specialized vocabulary related to cultural themes.

Module 5: Sentence and Comprehension Skills

  • Reading and understanding simple Sanskrit texts.
  • Translating short sentences to and from Sanskrit.

Module 6: Sanskrit Literature and IKS

  • Overview of Sanskrit literature (Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Puranas).
  • Introduction to Vedic Literature and its connection to Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS).
